When is the best time for a hunting safari?

The main hunting season in Namibia runs from February to November. The dry winter months (May to August) offer particularly favorable conditions for spot-and-stalk hunting.

What happens to the harvested game?

Trophies may be taken home after the hunt. Shipment and professional preparation are organized through a local taxidermist and shipping agent. Costs depend on the species, size, and individual requirements of each trophy.

  • Hunting equipment (if desired: your own firearm, binoculars, and suitable hunting clothing in muted colors)

  • Sun protection and a suitable hat

  • Personal medication

  • Camera and binoculars

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months) and any required vaccination documents

  • Rental firearms are available on the farm
