At Farm Garib, on the edge of the Kalahari, sustainable wildlife management is a central part of our philosophy. We believe that hunting can only be truly justified when it goes hand in hand with protecting nature and maintaining healthy wildlife populations.
Through carefully planned and selective management, we help keep natural wildlife populations stable and balanced.
We make sure that only specifically selected animals are harvested, always taking into account their age, sex and health condition. This allows us to preserve the diversity of species while maintaining the ecological balance of the savannah landscape.
Our responsibility goes far beyond hunting. We actively work to protect natural habitats, support natural wildlife movement and contribute to programmes promoting the sustainable use of natural resources.
For us, sustainable wildlife management means treating nature with respect – today, tomorrow and for generations to come.
On the edge of the Kalahari, you will discover an impressive landscape characterised by open savannah and scattered acacia trees – ideal conditions for exciting hunting experiences throughout the season.
The clear, dry air and wide-open views create a unique hunting environment, with every season offering its own special character. Even during the warmer months, the climate remains pleasant and comfortable thanks to the farm’s slightly elevated location.
Namibia’s official trophy hunting season runs from 1 February to 30 November.
