On the edge of the Kalahari, an impressive landscape of open savannah and scattered acacia trees awaits you – ideal for exciting hunting experiences throughout the season. The clear, dry air and wide-open views create a unique hunting environment, with each season offering its own special character. Even during the warmer months, the climate remains pleasant and comfortable thanks to the farm’s slightly elevated location.
Namibia’s official trophy hunting season runs from 1 February to 30 November.
At Farm Garib, on the edge of the Kalahari, sustainable wildlife management is a central part of our philosophy. We believe that hunting is only truly justified when it goes hand in hand with the protection of nature and the conservation of healthy wildlife populations.
Through carefully planned and selective management, we help to keep natural wildlife populations stable and balanced. We ensure that only specifically selected animals are harvested, always taking into account their age, sex and health condition. In this way, we help preserve the diversity of species while maintaining the ecological balance of the savannah landscape.
Our responsibility, however, extends far beyond hunting. We are actively committed to protecting natural habitats, supporting the natural movement of wildlife and promoting programmes for the sustainable use of natural resources. For us, sustainable wildlife management means treating nature with respect – today, tomorrow and for generations to come.
